Abstract

The author writes an autobiographical reflection after attending a hand drumming concert. The rhythmic grooves liberate her mind and body while she reflects on a major transition in her life. Writing helps her reflect on how the concert becomes a pedagogical context forthe emotional and intellectual chaos. In the end, autobiography moves her to gain a deeper understanding about how the pedagogical aspect from the concert enables change.
