Urban and Community Studies is an interdisciplinary program that studies cities and metropolitan areas, suburbs and small towns. The purpose of this site is to showcase the diversity of the work of faculty members from a variety of disciplines including anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, public policy, social work, sociology, and other fields. Work in this series may be conventional in nature-- for example, published articles-- or may include other media or multimedia formats.
