Online privacy is a challenge that is steadily gaining importance. New information on privacy breaches occurs with alarming regularly. Studies are being done to help people become more aware of this topic. This study researched the if and how gender, major, and class standing affect the views towards online privacy of students at the University of Connecticut. The research was performed by first asking students to fill out a quick ten question survey. The responses to these surveys were analyzed in order to reach conclusions. The primary conclusion of this thesis is that gender and major definitely affect the online privacy of individuals.
