JOURNAL OF SCREEN TRANSLATION STUDIES

Housed at the University of Connecticut in the Department of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages, the Journal of Screen Translation Studies is an annual, peer-reviewed, web-based journal devoted to publishing original scholarship on all subjects related to the history, practice, and theory of audiovisual translation, specifically in areas including dubbing, subtitling, or captioning.

Its mission is to foster a new and freely-accessible forum for the interdisciplinary study of the seventh art, in a multilingual context that operates at the intersection between Translation Studies and Film & Television Studies.

See the Aims and Scope for a complete coverage of the journal.
