Abstract

The overdoped regime of superconductivity in copper oxides may provide insight into the higher superconducting transition temperature and unique bordering phases. Using scanning Superconducting QUantum Interference Device (SQUID) microscopy, developments of superconductivity are spatially resolved in overdoped La2-xSrxCuO4 thin films. To further understand the local characteristics of the superconductor, SQUID measurements provide the London penetration depth, comparatively similar to global results.
